Moynihan Train Hall
New York’s Moynihan Train Hall is a space in flux—half cathedral, half crossroads. It’s steel and glass meeting human stories in real time. Through my lens, I look for those moments between the rush: when light filters in, someone forgets they’re being watched, or the ordinary turns cinematic. I have been photographing travelers passing through Moynihan Train Hall over the last few years. This series captures more than trains and travelers. It’s about posture, pause, connections and personal theater in a public space. The architecture is grand, but the people are the real narrative—lost in thought, enjoying coffee, catching up with colleagues prior to their train departure or trying to find the escalator (again).
